COCOA BROWNIES
When I need an easy dessert that never disappoints, brownies are always my go-to. I love how quickly they come together—they’re perfect for those days when I want something homemade and delicious but don’t have a lot of time or energy to spend in the kitchen. And without fail, every time I share these brownies, someone asks for the recipe.
These easy cocoa powder brownies have the perfect texture, at least in my book. They’re wonderfully chewy, rich, and satisfying, with that irresistible shiny, slightly crusty top that makes each bite even better.

This chocolate brownie recipe is more than just a dessert—it’s a piece of my family’s story. I learned this recipe from my mom, who had been baking these brownies since our college days. Back then, she would make batch after batch so we could sell them in our dormitories, turning homemade brownies into our lunch money and teaching us the value of hard work, love, and resilience.
Every time I bake this recipe, I’m reminded that food has the power to carry memories, support dreams, and bring people together. These brownies represent simple beginnings, family bonds, and lessons passed down through generations.
This is a recipe from the heart—shared with love, just as it was given to me.

TIP!
You don’t need to chop and melt chocolate to make these, their rich, chocolate flavor comes from cocoa powder. Use Dark Chocolate for a richer flavor.
